Produced marketing videos for Yelp to create a showcase video content for Yelp businesses. The goal was to not only create videos for Yelp businesses but also to measure how these videos did on their platform so these metrics could be used to sell Yelp businesses on Yelp business video packages.
The Concept
Video Marketing
Yelp was expanding their video initiative across their business offerings. They wanted to create a showcase of various businesses using video to attract new customers and create new consumer bonds. The videos had to not only show the business but also create a story around the owner.
On average business owners who adopted video saw a 20% increase in brand likeability resulting in higher customer ratings and foot traffic.
The Result
Yelp was able to begin offering videographer services to businesses with concrete evidence of the effectiveness of utilizing video for branding purposes. The initiative created a whole new stream of revenue for Yelp.
